Hungarian businesses explored American market opportunities

On September 27, 2023, the BKIK headquarters hosted an American-Hungarian Business Meeting as part of the Southeast USA - Budapest Economic Forum.

The event saw a six-member American delegation collaborating with Hungarian companies looking to expand into the Southeastern part of the United States. Notable opportunities included the company Safely's quest for cooperation in real estate management and IT, P&S International Strategies' support for entering the American market, and insights from the Upstate SC Alliance regarding key industries in South Carolina. Peachtree Corners, Georgia, showcased innovative IT and technology companies, while Roswell, Georgia, presented attractive conditions for businesses in medical and banking sectors. The event featured John E. Parkerson, Hungary's Honorary Consul General, who discussed important regulations for Hungarian companies entering the American market. The event facilitated personal discussions to lay the foundations for future collaborations and aimed to strengthen American-Hungarian business relations and promote economic cooperation.
